​​​​​​Here at 3M Dance Studio, we magnify the glory of God by teaching our students the technique of dance while encouraging them with the love of Christ. Our students are taught with the fundamental teachings of technique, and with this type of teaching they can do any style of dance they choose. They are trained and equipped with the knowledge of dance to attend any performing arts school or College. If they choose another path for their destiny they will always remember, Philippians 4:13 NIV, I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.

Ms. Sonya’s experience and passion for dance led her to fulfill God's plan into her own business which is to share the love of Christ with kids through dance.
In 2012 a vision was given by God to open a dance studio and she did. In 2014 Sonya C. Boomer stepped out on faith and opened the doors of 3M Dance Studio.

3M Dance Studio Where Jesus Is Lord, located in Temple Hills, MD, has been in existence since 2014. It has always been our mission to show the creativity of God through movement and our vision to help build the Kingdom of God by reaching lost souls through dance. To honor our mission and vision over the years we have danced all over the DMV. 3M is grateful for every opportunity we’ve received to expose our dancers to professional dance settings and trainings. Some of our dancers have danced at the Department of Transportation, Mission of Love, Kentland Community Center, Harmony Hall Community Center, St Stephen Baptist Church Community Harvest Night, Local Artist music video, Star Quest Competition and a host of other events. Some of our dancers have been accepted into Benjamin D Foulois Creative and Performing Arts School and graduate college with a degree in dance.

Now entering our 10th year of existence we are reaching for even higher heights for our dancers! It is our goal to teach the technique of dance, build stage presence, and instill confidence in all of our dancers. We stand on “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” Philippians 4:13.
